Happy Birthday, Animal Noises!

Hard to believe, but one year ago today, Animal Noises was born. We've seen busy weeks, dead months, and then the triumphant rebirth in December. We went from two writers, to five writers, to two different writers, down to one and now the original two once again. It's been quite a ride, but I can honestly say that for the past seven months, I've enjoyed every second of it.

So now where do we see ourselves in the coming year? Well, hopefully bigger and better- riding the momentum we've begun to pick up over the past few months. June was our busiest month ever, in terms of overall posts, and second-busiest in terms of traffic (only to December- aka "Best of month"). I'm glad, and grateful, that so many people have been stopping in to see what we've got to say, and promise that the best is yet to come. As any regular reader probably knows, Tuesdays are the only day that we don't have an original feature section, and I'd like to change that. This is where everyone who is currently reading this comes in. What does our readership want to see as an additional feature? I'm willing to talk about almost anything music-related (within reason), so please, throw any ideas out there in the comment section below. Some suggestions, if you need a starting point- industry news, hip-hop tracks, mixtapes and classic (pre-1990) tracks, but you're not limited to these. If something gets a fair majority of the suggestions, I'll do my best to incorporate it into a new Tuesday feature. Thanks, everyone. And keep visiting!
