Stereogum posted this aptly-named track, off of HEALTH's upcoming-- Get Color-- so I figured it was worth speaking about on this sunny Friday morning. Spacious, noisy and seemingly floating, "We Are Water" is the type of song you could just listen to over and over, and still feel as if you're just suspended in some sort of meditative state. It's not so much feeling like you're underwater, as feeling like you ARE water-- hence the name. Space may also be a good comparison. Who knows. Either way, check out the track over at Stereogum. Get Color comes out September 8th via Lovepump United.
Animal Noises is a blog about music, both old and new, and how it stands up in the current music scene. The staff-- John, the editor, with contributions from Matt-- uses their various music backgrounds to intelligently discuss artists and albums, focusing on the good, while not avoiding the bad. We focus on sub-genres of rock, electronic music and hip hop, but don't be surprised to see the occasional wildcard too.
