Apparently, rock 'n' roll act The Black Keys have a hip-hop album coming out soon, and much to my surprise, it's probably going to be awesome. The project, entitled Blakroc, sounds ridiculous in theory, yet is actually quite effective in practice. Amongst the collaborators are a staggering lineup which includes Mos Def, RZA, Raekwon, Q-Tip, Ludacris, Jim Jones and others. If you'd like to hear for yourself, mosey on over to Pitchfork and check out "Ain't Nothing Like You (Hoochie Coo)," which features Jones and Mos Def.
