Our first Weekly Top 10 of the new year features our favorite selections from our neighbors to the north. We also tried to diversify our selections, so even though the Canadian music scene is known for being a very close-knit, interrelated group, we've attempted to branch out as much as possible. In a still-kind-of-new feature here, we'll be letting you know the albums that we care about streaming over at Spinner. Every Tuesday, we'll be putting up somewhere between 4 and 10 links, depending on what's out, so you can check out all of the week's great music before buying it. Things have picked up a bit this week, and as promised, that trend will continue as artists start releasing albums en masse to capitalize on the end of summer.
